  1. Saw your recipe for "meat pie" - my grandparents were from Canada and Grandma made this every year for Christmas Eve dinner. Most of us have kept up the tradition. Sometimes some of us gather at one home or other and make the pies - the added ingredient is wine (for the bakers. I have many pictures from our 'meat pie' making.
    Recipe is similar but I think I may try yours next time. Nostalgic visit to childhood and fond memories.
